By default, the car can be picked up at Malaga Airport. We deliver the vehicle right after your flight lands, which keeps the formalities to a minimum so you can start your journey right away. ✈️????

We also offer car delivery to hotels in locations such as Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, and Marbella. This service is available for an additional fee, which can be selected during the reservation process.

 

Yes - you return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as when you received it.

Yes, at Car4rent Malaga you can rent a child seat as additional car equipment. When making your reservation, you can select the appropriate type of seat so that it will be prepared in the vehicle on the day of pickup. This is a convenient solution for families traveling by plane, as you don’t need to bring your own child seat in your luggage. 

For the convenience of our customers, we offer several types of seats suited to the child’s age and height:

• Baby seat – designed for infants and the youngest children.

• Child seat – suitable for small children.

• Booster seat – for older children who only need elevation to properly fasten the seat belt.

Yes, with prior approval and payment of a cross-border fee. Otherwise, insurance may be void.

Yes. Choose the “Additional Driver” option and ensure the second driver has a valid license.

Yes. Parking fees are the renter’s responsibility. Use official zones to avoid fines.

To rent a car from our company, you must be at least 25 and no older than 75 years old, and have held a valid driving licence for a minimum of two years. 

Yes, but only with the prior approval of the Lessor.
Unlimited mileage applies only when the vehicle is used within Andalusia.

Driving outside the borders of Andalusia requires prior consent from the Lessor and payment of an additional fee in accordance with the current price list.
Driving outside Andalusia without consent constitutes a breach of the rental agreement and may result in additional charges or penalties as specified in the terms and conditions.

 

Yes, it is possible. If you plan to enter Gibraltar with a rental car, you need to add this option when making your reservation.
At Car4rent Malaga there is a one-time fee of €20, which allows you to legally enter Gibraltar with the vehicle. 

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and is not part of Spain or the Schengen Area. This means that different legal and road regulations apply there.

For rental companies, this involves factors such as:

• different administrative procedures,

• potentially more complicated handling in case of an accident or traffic fine,

• the need to extend insurance coverage.

The one-time €20 fee covers these additional formalities and allows you to enter Gibraltar with the vehicle.

 

Not always. Gibraltar uses British mobile networks, so many European SIM cards may switch to roaming or have limited internet access.

For this reason, it is recommended to:

• download an offline map in advance (e.g. in Google Maps),

• save the most important addresses and information before crossing the border.

 

In Spain, children who are under 135 cm in height must travel in an appropriate child restraint system (car seat) suited to their height and weight. In practice, this usually applies to children up to around 12 years old.

Once a child reaches 135 cm, they may use the standard seat belt. However, for safety reasons it is recommended to continue using a booster seat until about 150 cm in height.

At Car4rent Malaga, you can easily add the appropriate child seat or booster when making your car reservation, so it will be ready in the vehicle on the day of pickup.

 

Yes. All cars in our fleet are equipped with air conditioning, which is especially important when traveling in Andalusia, where temperatures can be high for much of the year.
